The thing is that brush rollers are important components of vacuum cleaners because they have the ability to loosen stubborn dirt that has stuck on the floor and carpet (or any other surfaces). Without it, your vacuum cleaner won't be too effective in sucking in dirt. So if you notice that your brush roller is worn out or is not rotating, replace it with a new one.
